    Very nice thread idea... Today I am remembering fallen soldiers, as well as both my grandfathers who were WWII vets that lived nice, long lives. Rest in peace to both of them.

    In the early 20th century, Memorial Day was a day set aside to remember all those who had passes before us. So today I remember them as well.

    Yes its a day to remember those that are gone but not forgotten.
