Anyone who thinks that they are too small to make a difference has never tried to fall asleep with a mosquito in the room by Christie Todd Whitman

I've used this with my year 5/6 class I am a student teacher on. We have learnt about water in developing countries and how it affects all aspects of life: disease; education; work and; malnutrition.

So we are trying to make a difference and are in the process of organising a charity day at school so we can raise money to contribute to a clean water source in a village in Africa.

    I wrote a paper for a macroeconomics class last semester about water infrastructure. It is amazing how little federal money is allocated to it here in the u.s. and globally.

    That is awesome! A very noble thing to teach such young children...wish one of my kids teachers would have done something like that...hell wish one of mine would have!
