Questions about Made in America Fest

Was really excited to hear Pearl Jam is playing Philly again BUT.....
This whole thing feels rushed and there are A LOT of unanswered questions:
Is Pearl Jam playing both days?
If not, what day are they playing?
Will single day tickets be available?
Tickets are onsale before the artist list is complete....seriously?
And what is this B.S. of tickets getting more expensive as the show gets closer?
There was no indication that the $99 tickets were limited to a presale ONLY and you had to go to Budweiser's facebook page( great if was a 20y.o. college student - how about an email Ten Club?)
The price jumped 50% literally over night and it's gonna jump up again and AGAIN without notification.
How the hell are you supposed to plan for this with SOOOO MANY unknowns?
The official website is LACKING at best.
Just expected more - on all fronts.

Let me see if I can help you.
First, I doubt PJ will play both days. As of now, the consensus is that they will play one night; that night being Sunday. Of course this is all speculation as there is nothing confirmed.
Second, single day tickets will not be sold. Yet. The website clearly states that no single day passes are being considered as of now.
Third, festivals are known for selling tickets prior to the lineup release. This is nothing new.
Fourth, the $99 tickets were not limited to pre-sale. They were limited in quantity as outlined on the festival website. That allotment sold out quickly yesterday morning, therefore the price moved to the next level.
Finally, the website presented an option to sign up for notifications. I suggest you take advantage of this to alleviate any further concern.2009: Philly 3 & 4
2010: Newark, MSG I
2011: EV Philly
2012: Philly MIA
2013: Wrigley, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Philly 1 & 2, Baltimore0 -
While basically everything you pointed out is true (and frustrating), this is how almost all U.S. music festivals are run these days. The tiered thing seems to be the norm and is designed to get people to buy tickets quickly to an event that they otherwise might put off buying for. (ie. its a big festival, no big deal if i dont buy it for a few weeks). No justification for such a crummy website though..2005-9-12 London, ON

The website was JUST updated with SOME of that info.
And since when is wanting more information a bad thing?0
