I plan on leaving NY around 6am Saturday cuz from.what I gather the traffic is already redunc around the festival area..Get my car to the hotel garage and leave it there till Monday..That fkn hotel better let me check in early! Otherwise ill be the guy with the bright green and yellow PJ duffle and poster tubes roaming the streets of Philly on Saturday

I am sure your hotel will have a place to check bags and you can pick them up after...or leave them in your car.

So the schedule posted on this thread is or isn't correct?

I can't find a schedule anywhere else online, so I'm inclined to think it's incorrect.
    Does anyone know for sure?

& Released1980, I'm with ya'. I plan on leaving Boston Saturday morning @ 7:00,and that may be a moot point if we can't check in until 4:00.

I've been trying to find out more info about the schedule myself..Someone here said something about an app but I cant find shit :? .. Im hoping it's a bit off cuz I wanna see the Hives and if they're on at 2pm then that blows my preparty plans. IMO the Hives are a fantastic opener for Pearl Jam, they would jack the crowd up something silly.

Cliffy..Thats def the plan if I cant check in early. Just kinda blows that if the hotel sticks to 4pm check in and the gates open at 12 and there is a no re entry policy, then I'm not getting settled until the end of night 1. I emailed CID about this and they basically said we are shit outta luck if ya bought a travel package. Either way I'll be there pretty damn early on Saturday ready to fkn rock! :D

30th St. Station is the main train station serving Philadelphia and only 1.2 miles from the Budweiser Made in America festival site. Amtrak, Septa and New Jersey Transit all service 30th St Station. (Pulled from MIA FAQ)

Yeah, I was disappointed to see Run DMC scheduled so early too. I just can't see myself going in either day before 4 or 5:00

If you need a map, just google map, Philadelphia Art Museum. The area blocked off is going to be everything south east of the art museum to 21st or so. The main stage is going to be a the steps (directly south east of the museum), another stage is going to be at the opposite end of the grounds and when I passed the other day, it looked like the Dj tent was around 21st and Pennsylvania or so. Easier said for me since I am familiar with the area. There were tents going up lining the parkway, the main road it is going to be on. Just take a look at the area in google maps and you should get a pretty good sense of the ground.

  • Ok people, found a great app to locate public parking and rates. App is called best parking. Obviously these lots and garages will charge more for events but it's a great locator if ur driving in and out. Hope this helps :D

Realized it would be easiest to use public transportation. Taking NJ Transit to Trenton. Too lazy to search this whole thing. Can someone please tell me exactly what I need to take to get to the park?? Thanks in advance.

The arrival of remnants of Hurricane Isaac should coincide with PJ taking the stage would be my pessimistic outlook
