I agree with you. The Bee Gees were great at their craft. Genre boundaries are something that I think limit a lot of music listeners.
Having said that, I have heard some Bee Gees songs that I didn't dislike, but admittedly I am not a huge fan. I don't own any of their work, but I've listened to their record Trafalgar and it's a worthy mention.
