Amps?

After 10 years without I've finally got a new guitar, Fender Hellcat.

Are the acoustic amps worth the $$ or should i just use a normal amp if i end up getting a electric as well......if the missus lets me.

    Electric guitar amps are not voiced for acoustic guitars. It will not sound good. Acoustic amps have a wide range and a voiced flatter than electric amps. An acoustic through an electric amp will sound choked and mid-rangey.
