when's your next Newport, RI show??
If I could be anything in the world I would be your teardrop...I would be born in your eyes, live on your cheeks, and die on your lips.
  • i would but i refuse to see tribute bands, especially when the real thing is still around, and especially especially a pearl jam tribute. idk it just makes me feel cheated somehow..

The real thing doesn't come around enough. Ten is the only cover band I have seen, and they are a lot of fun (and pretty damn good)!

Yep, the Rams Head Savage show on the 23rd is out on their site now. And yes it is a free admission show.

We are looking forward to this one. It will be the first time we have taken the unplugged show outside of our local area. These shows are fun because they are far less formal, and we can hang out and take requests all night. We've made so many friends in the Baltimore area over the years, and this will be a good chance to just hang out and have a good time in a smaller venue.

The reality is that we will have the full band just with acoustic guitars and it is a cross betwen the 1992 MTV unplugged show and Benroya hall kinda vibe. Sometimes we'll let'er rip full electric in the second set depending on the club.

so come on out and say hello and bring your requests. If we know it we'll play it, and if we don't we'll probably give it a shot anyway ;-)

Also, keep an eye out for the Sounds Of Seattle show sometime later in the spring at Rams Head Live in the inner harbor. This is a 3 band show : Ten with Nevermind a Nirvana tribute and our new Temple of the Dog project "Hungerstrike"

Shaner will be along on this trip too, so don't be suprised if we whip out a little unplugged TOTD too !

Thanks all, looking forward to seeing everyone in a couple of weeks !

(BTW, the Newport RI show date has changed. We'll be up there in April now)

Where the hell is Savage, MD? Wish they woulda played in Salisbury when I went to SU...

Jesus Christ Joe just come with me to see them. Pearl Jam pales in comparison to their shows anyway. Plus they take requests and play the songs PJ never plays anymore like Even Flow and Alive and Better Man. Even Last Kiss.

    ;)

  • The show is right down the road from my house. Savage, MD is off route 1 and route 32. You can take US 29 North to Gorman Road go down the road for about 15 minutes and you will see on your left an old bridge/mill and make a left. I don't know the name of the road but the tavern is on the left and park could be a bitch sometimes.

my husband went there for lunch recently and he said you have to park up the street, 2 blocks away.

I had fun. Matt, it was great seeing you and your harem.

Ten Band -- I loved your performance. My husband is very picky and on the way home, he commented how good you were. He's not a PJ fan, but he goes to their concerts with me and loves them live. Nick, your voice is so powerful. The band was amazing as well! That was adorable when you were singing Red Mosquito right into that girl's face :D Kind of like a 1940's old movie (musical) when people sang to each other ;)

My stomach was hurting from the beers (I'm not a drinker) and we were going to leave but stayed a while longer. I was really glad b/c you played I Got Shit, one of my favorite songs. We don't live around there so we had to leave (I was tired) when you were playing Crazy Mary and I think my hubby was dying to hear it. I told him I've got bootlegs if he wants to hear it. (It is hell being old!) Thank you for such a great time.

Last night was a fucking BLAST!

You guys sounded GREAT and the acoustic session to start the night off was really really cool! The Temple of the Dog stuff sounded great as well!

I am slightly hungover, but it was a great time. Can't wait for the next time. I have pictures to upload as well, so be on the look out.

Good to see everyone that came out :D

You guys sounded great! It was nice to meet you and hear you play. I have seen all the tribute bands on the east coast and I am definitely partial to the one that played in MD last night!!! You guys are just natural and don't have to try too hard to emulate PJ. Thanks for a great time. See you next weekend in Latrobe...
