It's odd that they recently added all of those dates and then cancel them right away.
Postpone - Cause or arrange for something to take place at a time later than that first scheduled.
Was there this much confusion when Ed postponed his tour dates?

It won't, but I can hope.
Not happening, but why would Sammy come back? He plays with a pretty good guitar right now. Sure, they WERE playing smaller venues (if you're not playing anywhere, that's pretty small). But, at this point, I'm sure stability is the saner option.
But, again - why leave Satriani, Anthony and Smith for the lunacy that is the Van Halen family?
That's all that needs to be said. I think Sammy's probably wise enough to see that doing that is like walking into a burning building.

Sorry but I was a BIG Sammy Hagar fan in the 80's and saw him several times, I was also a big Van Halen fan in the 80's and saw Fair Warning, Diver Down and 1984 tours. But when Sammy joined VH, that was pretty much it for me, I liked both separate, but together just didn't do it for me. To me Van Halen is the original lineup, or @ least Eddie, Alex and Diamond Dave, it would be great if Michael Anthony was there also, that's Van Halen.
I really wish Sammy Hagar would go out on tour or make a solo record and go out on tour, it's been to long.

No the difference is that when the Vedder tour was postponed, Kelly Curtis was kind enough to give a reason for the later dates AND the later dates when it was postponed (only one that didn't happen was N.O. Fr obvious reasons).
VH just deleted the dates from their website, as if they didn't exist to begin with, gave no reason for the announcement (until days later, sort of, when DLR made a video announcement about how they gotta take some time then go to Australia and Japan and come back around with a bigger opener, two years later from when the tour started... Or something like that, not like he makes much sense in general), and gave no list of WHEN the actual dates will or won't be made up.
Basically, sounds like their tour manager sucks fucking balls, booked a whole tour without checking with the actual band, then got the hook... OR they are just making shit up. Either way the whole thing smells fishy and now I'm stuck with tickets (sorta? No actual tickets yet, but bought them 4 days before the whole tour was "postponed") for a concert that might happen sometime next year or who the he'll knows when! What a rip.
If they woulda said hey, it's postponed, here is the new date for the concert you already paid $100+ a ticket for, I wouldn't see it as that big of a fuck you, compared with "what tour? There's no tour listed on our website! You're hallucinating!" The tickets are now sitting on my credit card, for a concert that might or might not happen sometime in 2013.... I kinda feel like this is what I deserve, being a Van Halen fan, they're so fucked up.... :roll:
