Getting between NYC and Mansfield

I need to get back to New York (Manhattan) right after the show - can anyone suggest how this can be done?

Also, any suggestion on getting to the show from NY the day of would be greatly appreciated.

    getting to the show from manhattan is totally doable. the majority of the buses between nyc and boston will bring you to south station. from there you can hop on the commuter rail to mansfield. once at the mansfiled station there are usually (but not always) cabs hanging out. it's only like a 10-15 minute drive to great woods (or whatever the fuck they call it now) but this involves a bit of highway time so you couldn't, like, walk there if there were no cabs. getting back to new york right after the show, however, aint happening unless you leave real early (and even then it's not gonna' be easy).

    you'd probably have to leave quite early to get a train back to boston, then a bus back to nyc. probably not worth risking it..., easy to get there for the show, but i'd get a hotel in mansfield or boston to be safe.
