Legendary bass player Donald "Duck" Dunn passed away in Tokyo today.

Details of his death are not yet known. He is known to many for being the bass player for the Blues Brothers, Steve Cropper, Booker T & The MG's, and part of the legendary Stax House Band. He recorded with the likes of Muddy Waters, Tom Petty, Neil Young, CCR, Wilson Pickett, Bob Dylan, Otis Redding and many more.

    What a shame! Ha, I saw a guy play one time that used to get checks sent to him because HIS name is Don Dunn. He said, "There is no way I am making that much money!" :lol:

    Still not a lot of details on how he died, other than he died in his sleep, and was alone. I guess they added that last part to ensure nobody thought he died with a groupie or something.

    Bummer. I saw him with Neil a few times. He had some talent.
