:( Couldn't get tickets to the NYC show. I'll keep trying, maybe some will pop up, or the StubHub prices will come down!

In addition to Jack Irons, I love Rami Jaffee too!

I might be open to help if it's not too much trouble :)

Although the number of tickets on StubHub keep increasing, and the prices keep coming down. Maybe in a few weeks it will be below face!

Looking forward to the new album and hopefully a show in the fall.

Saw them a few years ago without Rafi and it was clear something was missing.

Yeah! Not sure if I love it but I do like when bands try different things. And isn't there a line in there about their new drummer Jack jamming with Joe Strummer? I got a kick out of that :)

What an amazing show! I love Rami. Every girl in there was there to see Jakob but I was all about Rami. And Jack Irons. It seemed like most people didn't quite know or understand the greatness of Jack. Maybe they were too dazzled by Jakob's pretty face :lol:

That new song sounds great live, especially when Rami starts it out. I didn't realize how much he's rocking out when he's playing! And I was pleasantly surprised, I really thought I would love hearing the songs I've been dying to hear live since I first heard them (6th Avenue Heartache, One Headlight) but I actually liked their new stuff much better, and I think the band did too. Jakob didn't seem into 6th Avenue Heartache at all, and he tried to get the crowd to sing One Headlight :lol: He said he's sang it so many times so "we're going to sing it together". I really think he forgot the words, because he kept jumping in at the chorus which was the part everyone knew. He was really funny, something else I also wasn't expecting. At one point early on in the show, he asked the girl standing right in front of him if the guy behind her told her pictures weren't allowed and said, "Just so you know, I everyone else around you is taking pictures. And I don't mind. In fact, let's take a picture together".

They really looked like they were having fun. I've never seen Jack Irons before (only saw PJ with Matt Cameron) but he just had his head down the whole time and was extremely focused. I also had a hard time seeing him since he was so low, but it was cool to see Jack live. Can't imagine how they would have sounded without Rami, he adds so much to their sound and general energy!

Anyway my point is, GO SEE THEM! Seems like they are doing small venues. I paid $30 for my ticket, best $30 I've ever spent. I was probably 3rd or 4th row from the stage and I went right when doors opened.:mrgreen:

Sounds great! Hopefully they come back around here (I couldn't make the Firefly Festival).

I saw them without Rami, and you're right, they just weren't the same. This sounds a lot better than the show I saw a few years ago. Love the Foo Fighters, but it was a waste for Rami to be with that band.

Did you hear the shout out to the band members in Reboot the Mission?

"Welcome Jack the new drummer. He used to jam with Joe Strummer." 8-)

FInally listened to the full stream last night, I love it! They played a bunch of the songs at the show I was at in July and they sounded even better live.

Watching it right now. Something so funny just happened...right after One Headlight.

Jakob Dylan's talking about the lyrics being mistakenly interpreted. He said something almost incredibly similar to what Eddie Vedder said about Unemployable.

Check it out...it was really odd, especially since it happened in the same theater on a Live at Letterman performance.

Saw them last night for the record release party at the Fonda Theater in Hollywood... great show with a great mixture of old/new songs. Took a couple of requests from the audience. Everest opened, which was a bonus. Met Jakob after the gig... he was very cool. Also, band signed poster for 40 bucks at the merch table.

    Yup, I like that album.

Saw them last night - really good show - they had a lot of energy. Having seen them without Rami, it's clear how crucial he is to that band. He just fills up all their songs with an awesome wall of sound, and seems like a cool guy. He even played a song with the opening band, My Jerusalem, who were excellent.
