Don’t claim this is a non-story, when you were very instrumental in taking this country down a very ugly path with your who’s a REAL AMERICAN speeches, inciting a backlash of hate and violence towards minorities in America.

Yet, here you are, in all your hypocrisy, seeking dual-citizenship as a Swiss national, while still running for another term in the US Congress while spouting the same Real American hate speeches.

SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

i am still surprised that some people on here thought that she had an honest chance at the nomination. she even won a straw poll...

she is a real american. a mixture of different peoples from all over the world. she is a mutt like most of us.

Well that was silly, why give up your Swiss citizenship?

    from the articale...

"Ms. Bachmann emphasized in her statement that she always has pledged allegiance to the U.S. “We live in the greatest nation humankind has ever known and I am proud to be an American,” she said."

i am speechless at this flag wavers complete and utter ignorance, brown nosing and ridiculousness. bachmann is the type that believes america is above and better than every country in not just this planet but the entire universe. her bullshit heart scares the fuck out of me.

Again... who gets to decide who is a 'Real American' and who isn't?
    What IS the criteria?
What makes someone a 'Real American'?

She's not giving up her Swiss citizenship, she applied for Swiss citizenship.

The fact that she points fingers as to who she defines as a 'real American' is why I find her and her Tea Party counterparts hypocrites. Either your an American or not isn't that they're mentality!!! So why don't they support a bill against dual citizenship?

Her looks have nothing to do with the words that come out of her mouth.

    ...
Maybe she wants to become a Swiss Citizen because that's where she keeps all of her money.
    ...
She should also apply for Cayman Citizenship.

Every time I see this thread title, I get a weird and perhaps dyslexial hankering for hot chocolate.
