First, sorry if there is a thread about this. If there is, then the mods can delete this thread.

With the Democrats getting a front runner to run against Scott Walker next month, I was wondering just how big and important would the recall election be for the nation?
Shows: 6.27.08 Hartford, CT/5.15.10 Hartford, CT/6.18.2011 Hartford, CT (EV Solo)/10.19.13 Brooklyn/10.25.13 Hartford

It's important for the labor unions and the state of Wisconsin. As it is a race for governor, I don't believe it will have a profound impact outside of the state, other then to serve notice that unions still have power and influence if Walker is recalled.

    Probably not much.

Have you seen him complain about the Democrats and unions using money from out-of-state funding when 2/3's of his recall support has come from out-of-state millionaires, like the Koch brothers?

What was exciting was to see the protestors the unions brought in from out of state. Both sides are really pumping some money into this one.

    "Pow!”. Barrett. Not gonna happen.

Three times as many people voted in Tuesday’s uncompetitive GOP primary than voted in the uncompetitive Democratic primary for governor in 2010, when Tom Barrett faced nominal opposition

No, but I'm not really concerned about that stuff. The voter still casts a ballot, and only one ballot. If he loses maybe he can come here to Illinois to clean up our financial disaster. But don't worry if he doesn't we all know what will happen, Illinois will get a Federal bailout and all of you will be held liable for our corrupt politicians.
