Parents nabbed for strapping 4 kids to moving car

We know lots of parents who've joked about strapping their annoying kids to the outside of the car, but an Indiana couple has been arrested for doing it for real. The couple was spotted outside a liquor store reportedly tying their four children, ages 4, 5, 6 and 7, to the hood of their car. Witnesses called police, and the car was pulled over. The dad was charged with DWI; police are exploring additional child neglect and endangerment charges for both. The kids are fine and even told reporters that their parents had asked them if they wanted to be attached to the hood. Naturally, the little ones said, "Yes, because it sounded like fun."

    what amazes me is did they really think that they wouldn't get caught?

    I don't know about all you, but if I saw a kid strapped to the roof of a car, I wouldn't just keep driving on down the road

    Being a child of the 80's I saw all kinds of fun looking, yet dangerous, things to do with vehicles thanks to Michael J. Fox movies. But much like you, my parents were smart enough to say no.

    when we were teens we used to car surf
    standing on the trunk of the car
    holding onto the seat belt ends
    while the driver did donuts in a field
    gran torino was the one car that had seat belts long enough
