Stupid Question

Okay, this is a pretty dumb question, but I haven't been able to find this anywhere. Does Ed have a backing band on his solo tour, or is he strictly solo, just him and a guitar? Or does he use pre-recorded music?

    It's just him. Occasionally Liam or EJ from the opening act come out and sing with him. And last night they brought Liam's drums back out for the closer 'Hard Sun'

    just him and a guitar. its pretty fucking awesome. Liam Finn and a backup finger (forgot her name) came out for the encores. but the main sets, just eddie and a chair.

    I could swear at DC 2 for "Hard Sun" there was audio backup. Ed made a minor deal of hitting a button on the reel-to-reel, and the song sounded fleshed out instrumentally. Didn't make it any less awesome! :)

    he uses a backing track on hard sun...other than that it's just ed, a guitar, uke, mandolin or banjo....liam and ej back him up at various times :)
