    no crazier than yesterday
    but that's just me
i imagine there will be lots of sirens tonight

people say that's an old wives tale
    but i can tell you
i spent some of my career working in the emergency room
and imho it is not a wives' tale, its very much real

    its got to
if you think about how much influence the moon has on the earth
its got to have an effect on us too....
if you've already got a tendency to be a little sensitive, well, there ya go
    peace,

The lunatic is on the grass.
The lunatic is on the grass.
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs.
Got to keep the loonies on the path.

The lunatic is in the hall.
The lunatics are in my hall.
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more.

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forebodings too
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.

The lunatic is in my head.
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me 'til I'm sane.
    You lock the door
    And throw away the key
There's someone in my head but it's not me.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear.
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
    peace,
    jo

At 11pm when my wife and daughter were asleep and it was just me awake there was a knock on the front door. I assumed it was one of our family members since they all live within minutes of us. I answer the door wearing only my boxers (that have no button in the front, lol) It's some woman saying her car's tire blew out and needed a phone to call a tow truck. I go get my phone (and put some pants on), come back and she is clearly high on crack (since cracktown is a few houses away from us). She calls some number that isn't a tow truck but one of her boyfriends or something to come pick her up. She then says her car's tire has blown out 4 times this week and she is out of gas, asks me if I have any money, I said (HELL!) no. She stumbles to the road muttering incoherently and waving down cars, makes me call the guy back to make sure he's on the way. 4 minutes later he picks her up, I go inside. End of Super Crazy Moon night.

Sorry about that. She can get out of control at times when we're smoking. Won't happen again.

Went out and took pictures but I'm sure they will do it no justice so I just stood there and took it in for about 15 minutes. It was beautiful the way it was reflecting off a pond near me. The frogs were going crazy while I was there. Sometimes it just feels good to be alive. Where's that fuckin owl?

It was awesome as it started to rise in the star lit skies over the Sunfest Festival. As alternative bands rocked through the night. Then after we got home around 11:15 it was above our cypress hammock and brightened up the acreage almost like the sun at night with shades. 8-)

Woke me up at 4:00 am had to close the shades as it was too bright by then...awesome sight to see though.
