UGH enough with these "Paranormal Activity" type of movies!! I'm a paranormal investigator and all of these ridiculous movies are such a mockery of what it's all about. They're not scary, they aren't remotely believable. They're just teaching people what SHOULDN'T be done. :nono:

I don't think anyone is trying to mock the "Credible Paranormal Investigating" profession with these movies. I think they are just trying to have some fun with making below average horror movies.

You gotta give the filmmakers credit for taking advantage of a cash cow. People will eat paranormal and ghost shit up all day long, and pay for it, even if it is completely unbelievable.

I dunno, I can understand the allure with Paranormal Activity (certainly not the scariest movie ever, though), but the copycats afterwards? Just goes to show that the American public will continue to pay for things they've already seen...over and over again. Not to mention the "ghost hunting" shows on tv. How many times can we watch "Did you hear that? Wait! I saw a shadow! What's over there?" and still be scared?
