My wife and I saw him on his last tour through the US and it was one of the best shows we've seen - and I have seen hundreds of shows! 3 hours of professionalism - great voice, funny, sincere and his songs are timeless. Thanks for the heads up as I think we'll see him in Detroit again :)

    I agree....his shows put me in a trance-like state!

Sounds like an expensive nap to me :)

Kidding - not a fan, but people come out of his shows saying that it was a religious experience. Enjoy for those that attend!

I began in a weird way...I listened to a tribute album called "I'm Your Fan", featuring REM, Pixies, James, Lloyd Cole and Ian Mc Cullough (Echo and the Bunnymen singer).

Most of his songs have taken different shapes over the years....his most recent live album is really great!

I got to see Leonard for the third time in Dublin on Friday. Very difficult to describe how amazing his shows are, you just have to be there. He played for 3hrs and 25min (and does so each night), which is simply astonishing for a 78 year old. Ive been to many concerts over the years including 23 PJ shows, but Friday night beats them all. Fantastic band of musicians with him.

If anyone is unsure about going to the Fall Tour or the remaining European dates, just go, you will not be disappointed.

For under $40 shipped this would be something of a bargain David! Great artist worth getting into but not everyones cup of tea! If you're a fan of Nick Cave then it's very easy to get into Leonard... :)
