Keep on Chooglin' or Ramble Tamble?

If you're down with CCR, you see my dilemma. Fogerty is touring Canada this fall and alternating between Cosmo's Factory and Bayou County every date. If I stay in Edmonton, I get to tamble. If I go to the next city, I can choogle.

Ramble Tamble. Both Bayou Country and Cosmo's Factory are stupendous albums, but personally I think the latter has the slight edge. Run Through the Jungle was great live when I saw CCRevisited perform it, so I can say it's good live (though nothing compared to Fogerty), and just Imagine him singing Long As I Can See the Light and Who'll Stop the Rain. Whatever you choose I'm sure you'll be in for a great show.

Cosmo's Factory.....funny you should mention CCR because at times I hear a bit of the choogle in McCready's playing.

I saw Creedence Clearwater Revisited back in '97. Pretty good show for what is essentially a tribute band with the benefit of having the actual rhythm section of CCR. Back then they had Elliot Easton from The Cars on guitar which was kind of cool.

Back to the OP's dilemma. Ramble Tamble over to Edmonton and see the show then Choogle your ass on to the next town. Problem solved.

Got my tickets yesterday. Can not wait for this show. I have never seen John before, but I'm a huge fan. I got all CCR albums on both cd and record. My parents are huge CCR fans and they had the records and gave them to me. Got Centerfield on vinyl to. Gonna be a great show... and my parents are goin with me and my girlfriend... My mother has been wanting to see John for years...
