Good one, but I wouldn't care if they played a note of music. I'd be fine if they just showed up at the next "Lynyrd Skynyrd" show and kicked the crap out of the current lineup, which by my calculations has 0 members from the classic lineup.

Completely forgot to mention two of the most soul-filled voices ever -

Otis Redding - only 26 when his plane went down
Sam Cooke - only 33 when he was shot to death

Singers like Sam & Otis don't come around too often. No gimmicks like the generations that followed in their genre- just powerful, beautiful voices.

I decided to only list musicians that I never saw. Some of the best I saw that are no longer with us include Levon Helm, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Denis "Piggy" D'Amour, MCA, and Ronnie James Dio.

Keith Moon died on September 7, 1978 from swallowing a total of 32 pills called Heminevrin which was perscribed to help combat his alcoholism. 26 of which were still undissolved.

Good choice of KM but his death APPEARS to have been of a self inflicted kind....do you agree?
