edited May 2012 in All Encompassing Trip
Mine in no paticular order:

Avengers

Battleship

Men in Black III

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

GI Joe Retaliation

The Amazing Spider Man

Ice Age : Continetal Drift

The Dark Knight Rises

Total Recall

Finding Nemo (3D)

Twilight : Breaking Dawn part 2

Madagascar 3

Red Dawn

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

and one more that I can't think of the name ...it's about a prison that orbits the Earth...

FYI - I go to the movies to be entertained....and yes sometimes I need a mindless action filled movie. ;)

Is Red Dawn a remake of that 80's flick?!

Only one that is a definite trip to the theater for me is the Hobbit.

The Spiderman trailer looks too much like the first one with McGuire.
Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)

For me it's the following (sorted by release date):
The Avengers MiB: III High School (I saw this at a film festival a couple years back and I highly anticipate seeing it again) Prometheus The Amazing Spider-Man The Dark Knight Rises The Expendables 2 007: Skyfall The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Django Unchained

Probably just James Bond "Skyfall" and MiB III. Everything I'll just catch on Netflix. I might catch the Bourne movie.

    Red Dawn????

According to IMDB, it is a Chinese invasion this time .... but later edited to a North Korean invasion in post-production by wussy, commie producers.

North Korea???? Why not just make it about communist transformers that were discovered on the dark side of the moon and decide to invade the US? That's just as plausible as North Korea somehow invading.

Out of respect to the late, great "Jed" Swayze, I will blacklist this movie.

They changed it? The last I had heard about it was about a year ago and it was about a Chinese invasion, and that Tom Cruise's kid was going to be in it. Whether it's China or N. Korea, it still sounds stupid. Most remakes are bad ideas with a handful of exceptions. "Fright Night" and "Dawn Of The Dead" were pretty decent remakes, though I didn't think they were as good as the originals, but still very fun. The only remake that is better than the original is John Carpenter's "The Thing", but I don't know if that's a full-on remake or just a borrowing of a premise.
