i think i just saw the greatest show ever. it was so intense. the energy, the music, and the lights were the best i have ever seen them do. anyone else go? they played songs i've rarely heard live, like rats. eddie's performance was reminiscent of the early 90's, but better.

Was there last night...set list was fantastic--especially the Dylan covers...Defiantely the best and most powerful version of "Masters of War" I have ever heard...Crowd was great, sang along to EVERY song, even the newer and more obscure tracks...Eddie was a bit more talkative than he was in Albany or Hartford. Only gripe I have is the sound...I was on the floor, about 1/2 the way back and though it sounded good, it wasn't as good as Albany or Hartford which I attribute the atrocious acoustics of the TD Banknorth Garden--everything sounds tinny, like they were playing in my bathroom there...But all in all, a very good show...can't wait for tonight!!

yeah I've noticed that in the '04 VFC shows as well, and other bands. I hope they return to Mansfield some day, the sound there is much better.

    the intensity was amazing

i thought boston was spoiled but I think having 2005 without Pearl Jam gave us some fire

i can only hope tonight reaches the same level

I couldn't agree more - I have NEVER seen a crowd with that much intensity and energy.

    Until tonight that is........................

All I have to say is 'RATS'. I have been waiting to hear that song live for a long time now, and finally they delivered it last night! Amazing show, it is right up there with Mansfield Night 3!
  • the lights were like nothing i've seen before. inside job was phenomenal, and i couldn't believe the version of masters of war. i'm very jealous of all you guys who get to go tonight!! i had to go home to the baby. enjoy, and let those of us who miss it know how it is!
