I was so in love that day
out with my camera
catching that beauty in digital form
my pictures are more than what they look like
they remind me of my thoughts that day
some of them look more beautiful to me because I was floating up
with joy and love the day I took them
here today I was printing out some pictures
(to switch out some others in my rooms)
and I realize that I can recall the intensity of my day
by how much I want to look at them
that one of Gabe walking has so much passion even though
all it is a boy, a field, and a beautiful cloud
that one of the water is more than water and sky
it's that hope I felt one day
that set of palm trees is my wish from two years ago
it's in the picture and now
those are on my walls.
