we also need some damn shade
the sun's so bright down here
hot, hot, hot it is
but so clear and blue
the butterflies drop on the bushes
the birds land on the roof!
the squirrels use the lanai as a freeway
(darn squirrels)
and what about the frogs?
they're not leaving anytime soon
they live in the niches
they hide in the corners
they slime up the bikes and chairs
give me an orange tree anyday
