Magazines suck

I subscribe to two. Sports Illustarted and Maxim. Haven't read any of the issues in months. Sat down in the "thinking room" and cracked a couple of them open. Every fucking page has an ad and it seemed like every other time I flipped a page some index card with another ad fell out. Time to cancel.

if i wanna read a magazine...i go to barnes and nobles and get a coffee....and read...they have a solid selection, including penthouse and playboy.

I also somehow get Entertainment Weekly. Not sure how or why but that's a tomorrow project.

I'm pretty sure it was one of those "sign me up at the register for a free trial" things at FYE that I just never cancelled.

I stopped subscribing from magazines and now only use personalized magazine apps on my iPad like Zite and Flipboard. Its like getting a new magazine every single day for free (after paying a very high price for the iPad of course).
