Anyone else get obsessed with songs and at that point in time no other song will quite hit the spot?

At the moment I'm stuck on Our Lady Peace's song Naveed, not sure exactly what it is about it, the bass line, the chorus, the lead guitar........

It's hard to only listen to David Bowie's Five Years only once.

Good shout. I think that's what I'm getting at, songs that aren't necessarily complicated, but they keep building on a simple, almost hypnotic melody. Alice In Chains' Nutshell would be another example.

I may not do this anymore, but Zeppelin's Fool in the Rain was my alarm every morning at 6:00. Needless to say I listened to it on repeat every morning until 6:30.

Love that song, and that record in general. Nightswimming into Find The River has to be one of the best endings to a record ever.

HELL YES! I can barely find the words, that song is absolute perfection.

Staying with Lanegan, I'll also throw Revival and Some Misunderstanding by Soulsavers out there.

Even I am an old woman I am really delighted by...
Kamil Bednarek - a man who didnt't win polish "got talent", but he is just amazing.
Compare - original song - "I" Kurt Nielsen

and this song by Kamil in "Got talent" (two years ago)

    "Roxanne" Police:

and by Kamil (in TV show, where music "stars" choose ordinary people to their team and compete in singing)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kraZ3Ob63_Q

He's band's name in Star Guard Muffin. They play reggae. So now I recall my youth before Pearl Jam...
BTW. Bednarek remind me Eddie. He has similar value in life, don't play for money, propagates young bands, love the music he listened, protects his privacy. I hope He will succeed.
    He's 21.

I can't stop listened to this music.

All of these are tremendous songs that need to be heard a lot. I don't repeat songs very often but I watched a meteor shower recently with heaphones in while listening to Without You I'm Nothing by Placebo ft. David Bowie on repeat. I was an unforgettable experience...
