This is "squirt boating" were the object is to get hauled underwater on purpose.

By the way, I don't know why you chose this username and of course it's not my business, but I just want to inform you that telos (τέλος in Greek) means the end or the goal/aim/target.

There is a rock in a Class V rapid near where I live called telos rock.

It is near the top of a rapid called the Cribworks on the Penobscot River.

It is also near Telos road and bridge. Here is some video of this stretch of river.

The rock is directly on the left at 1:18secs.

Penobscot is Abenaki Indian for "place of descending rocks", another username of mine.

This river is near Baxter State Park and Mt. Kahtadin, two very beautiful places.
