Hello All,
I want to insure my entire music (Mostly PJ) collection.
I have all Vinyls, all 7", all xmas singles, all live box sets, all cd singles and albums and lots off promo and LE items
Any Idea how can I evaluate it?

Sure. First I need to know where you live and what time you are at work and/or generally out of the house. Let me know. :D

Simple- do your homework and find average list for all items. Multiply by a factor of 1.5 for variability and effort in repurchasing said items and then take that figure to the underwriters. They may have a different formula or consideration criteria but I'm sure it will result in a fairly high value. It's in thier best interest to inflate the insured value.

the range price for sealed binaural here is between 150-200, over the bay is over 300 so you can insure yours for 300 or more...

take pictures. or better yet lay it out and video it with you describing special attributes, rarity, and current values. bookmark links to your posters on EB to keep track of "value" (i use quotes because it is just one resource obviously. as stated, a message board, an art gallery, and ebay are all different). print out copies of auctions on ebay or other sites where you can track value, and then store those printouts offsite. or download them as docs or something and use a thumbdrive or cloud backup.

and don't forget to update. you might want to take another look at things every couple of years for additions and value increases.
