Going to the gym more and nothing says middle-aged out of shape guy like me on a treadmill pounding water out of my EV water bottle...except I don't have one.

Straight up trade you send me EV water bottle, I send you Vault #1 CD.

Hopefully a win-win for someone

  • I think you might have to offer more mate. The Vault CD's are way more common than the EV water bottle. Just friendly advice like. I got the CD from a friend, and I kinda got the EV water bottle by accident, but the water bottle did cost me 40 dollars.

Did something change with the vault cd recently (was it sold through the 10C)? I'm still operating under the impression they were only handed out at PJ20. Last I had checked they were going for around $80 - $100 on the bay. I know there were posts here Oct-Nov with people looking for the Vault for around $75. I saw the EV Sigg bottle on ebay for around $70 a while back. I'm operating under the assumption that they're both worth around $60 - $80, if that's changed let me know I don't want to put up some trade that's a bad deal for someone or that's going get ignored. Thanks for the info and the head's up.

  • I am willing to stand corrected. My rationale, which admittedly might be subjective rather than objective, went like this, and I didn't consider the COST/WORTH of the items at all.

It SEEMS to me that MORE Vault CD's appear on Ebay and the like than EV SIGG bottles. You hardly ever see the EV water bottles ANYWHERE. Therefore, I figured: if the Vault CD's, although 'rare' are a lot LESS rare than the SIGG water bottle, so therefore Damiens might need to sweeten the deal to get someone to part with their SIGG water bottle.

Does my reasoning make sense? Like I say, I'm totally willing to stand corrected, and my rationale is based on some assumptions that may be wrong, and if so, then I'll shut up, but that was my thinking when I originally posted after the OP.

My intentions were good, damiens, even if I turn out to be wrong! Hope you get your bottle! :D

No worries, read nothing but good intentions. Hopefully next trip to the gym sees me with my new bottle! Cheers.

As a runner, the only advice I can offer you is to step outside for a run. The treadmill is bad news. Plus, you get a much better workout one the pavement. However, if you're walking, then the treadmill will give you a better workout. Avoid the concrete though - hit the blacktop.
