The X-Files. It's my new project. In my entire life I've seen maybe 1 episode. For 10 years or so I've been trying to make it a point to watch the shows and movies, but it's a pretty daunting prospect. Nine seasons and two feature films is a lot to watch. I'm 5 episodes in and enjoying it though. I'm hoping I can get it done in less than the 9 years it took for the show to run its course.

I've heard that. I know at some point Duchovny pretty much leaves the show (save some appearances) and the liquid Terminator guy joins the cast. Even as somebody who didn't watch the show I was like "really?" with that move. And I've heard that the second movie, which I think came out years after the show was over, is almost unwatchable. I don't know, I might have to cut my project short if it becomes too unbearable, but I do at least want to see the good years. I've felt like I've been missing out on a lot of conversations and jokes/references over the years. I can't believe I never saw that much of the show, I was a teenager when it first came out (13 actually) and it was huge at the time. I remember everybody talking about it, but I wasn't much of a TV watcher at the time save for reruns of old shows. I mainly kept my TV on the movie channels and Nick At Nite.

Yeah I was kind of the same way, too. I think I caught up when it was at it's peak though, but I was a little behind and watched a lot of reruns. My parents, brother and sister were all into the show before I started to watch it. The show actually started to sour when they stopped filming in Vancouver, BC and moved the shooting location to Los Angeles. And I remember thinking at the time that it wouldn't be the same again, and it wasn't. It was around this time that Duchovny left, as well.

Cancer Man was a deadly character.
