This dude is badass.... I know there was a thread locked about him cause that's where I was going to post this.. So sorry if it's elsewhere.. I like this guy, looking fwd to more music from him once this show is done...

    yeah, i made that thread and got attacked for ripping on him. every time he opens his mouth to sing, i see and hear dave matthews. a lesser version.

    i do watch the show (will the judges please stop giving standing ovations every episode?), and he has grown on me, because he is a likable guy...but i wouldn't hold your breath waiting for anything special from him after the show is over. he's been through the american idol woodchipper. no "rock" musician can ever recover from that. although i guess that's a relative statement. of course chris daughtry, for example, has been a huge success. but would anyone on this board recommend buying a daughtry album? probably not.

    Even if the guy is similar to Dave he is still very talented. Plus he's from the great state of Georgia :D

    i'm just overly critical by nature. i treat myself the same way. sure he's talented, but so is my sister.

    why are you worried? i think he will stay. no doubt.

    what did you think of jessica sanchez's first performance of bohemian rhapsody? i was shocked when she got positive feedback. i think that was the worst of the night (made me cringe), but she may have saved herself with her second song.

    holly, elise and jessica are gonna have a tough time the rest of the way out. i can see any of the other three winning the whole thing. though i think joshua and skyler are the most deserving.

    He finally did a Dave song and I thought he did a good job. He will make some money singing so good for him as he seems like a good kid.

    Worried cause of past years and about this time we often lose the coolest of the cool,
    for me that is Phillip.
    He's not well, when he went to sit I thought maybe he was in pain. I missed him not being in the
    commercial too. :(

    Jessica has been my least favorite each week but I must be in the minority cause she is staying
    and the judges saved her.
    Sorry to see Elise go she has been my favorite female on the show.

    Joshua I think has got this if he doesn't screw it up. I close my eyes and listen
    he's like an old soul soul singer 8-)
