So, I was lucky enough to get 2 of these and I'm willing to part ways with 1. I looking to trade it for a Stone Gossard guitar pick - preferably from the last 10 years. I have guitar picks from Eddie, Mike and Jeff, so all I need is one from Stone.

If interested and want to make a trade let me know - thanks!

Thanks for the heads-up but the way I look at it is, I could keep an extra for no reason or put it on ebay for $100 and screw someone over. At least this way I get something I've always wanted and someone can get what they want so it's a win, win for all parties involved.

If people want to get pissed, then maybe they should have tried harder. I got up early today and brought my wife to the hospital because of "false labor" - stayed for 2 hours and missed the opening of my local record store. By the time I got there 90% of everything was gone including the EV LBC/Wishlist record. So I called around and drove out of my way and got it some place else. Then I found out that you could order on-line which would have been way easier so people can say what they want but if they want something bad enough you always find a way no matter what.

but you can't always find a way to get something you want... be happy you got what you wanted but don't have a go at those who didn't
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!

Not even close, he states what he specifically wanted. You did not.

I usually stay away from these types of threads, but I think the warning is fair. A $5.99 7" for a show-used pick? In other words, $5.99 for band memorabilia? I can see people calling this "flipping." I'm not saying it is or it isn't, but I think the warning is fairly given. Watch what you offer and how you offer it around here...

Also, lots of people made efforts to find the elusive 7"...in many cases it simply wasn't to be found. So when you're asking to trade something, it might not be a good idea to alienate your potential trading partners right off the bat by telling them they could have tried harder to get what you're offering. Just a thought.

For the record, I'd trade you a Brad or Po and the 4fathers 7" for your extra EV. ;)

The flipper stuff gets ridiculous on here. I had extra rsd titles I traded away and hooked people up with on a different message board to avoid the bs that goes on here.

I see it like this- if u don't like the trade proposal, then move on.. If someone wants to trade a pick then go for it..whatever.. But to imply that everyone who got shut out didn't try hard enough is kind of shitty..I drove, called, stood in line early- did all I could- nothing.. Oh well, life goes on.. It's just a record and price will come down..
Best of luck on your trade and good work grabbing two

I am offering a tin of Eddie Vedder playing card new for one. They were the same purchase price and the cards sell on ebay for $40-$65 . LMK :D

i really don't give a shit about rsd, but the way i look at it is, you could have only purchased one for yourself and left an extra at the store for someone else who was working hard to find it. but you chose to buy two of them, with the intent of getting rid of one. if you want a pick, go work hard at a concert in the first few rows. why would you want one that you didn't claim for yourself anyway?

it's not win win for the guy behind you in line who went to just as many if not more stores than you did.
