I pretty much struck out. Didn't see a single copy of EV or Willie Nelson or Star Anna, and there was only one copy of Phish's Junta which someone snagged before I even got in the door. I did however pick up the 7" Brad and 7" White Stripes.
brad, wilco, mccready/star anna, metallica, patterson hood, dinosaur jr, new multitudes. no luck with vedder or boom. also got jack white and the cure's entreat but i'm not sure if either/both were official rsd releases.
So far I've got another 90 minute wait for the store to open. Anyone know the story on the color vinyl Star and Mike? I'm hearing red, blue and black versions?

I'm starting to think RSD is, really, is sort of stupid. What is so special about the 45's that people buy to "trade" and sell for 8x what they paid for them? Like Junta... $79.99? For what? The same shit that was on the cd over a decade ago. makes no sense.

Dearborn Music is a pretty cool store! You should be able to grab The Black Keys, I think they pressed a ton of them.

I didn't even look for the Black Keys until I had grabbed everything else because I thought they would have a bunch. They probably did...I just wasn't quite quick enough. I'll probably wait a couple weeks for the dust to settle.
I drove all over the state of Wisconsin this morning and still couldn't get a copy of the E.V. 7'.
I stood in line for a while at the first place but was far enough back I didn't get one of the few E.V's they apparently had. I then drove to 3 other locations of the same chain (Exclusive Company) and didn't have any luck. I was able to find copies of Brad, Po and the 4fathers, and the Mike McCready/Star Anna 7'. There was a one per person limit but because I kept going to other stores I kept buying them. I have an extra Mike/Star, Brad, and Po & 4fathers if anyone has an extra EV and wants to trade.
