Record stores in perth got a few things... i think australian stores shared the same types of items that were available in the UK... if they werent available in the UK but only the US we didnt get them.
An RSD is a Record Store Day - a chance to grab a limited no. of special release items (7" singles). The one at the moment included some EV, Star Anna, Po and the 4fathers etc but not outside the U.S./Hawaii unfortunately

There was a RSD in Aus today... so many stores in Aus, about 5 in Melb CBD, plus Fitzroy, Brunswick, 2 in northcote and 1 in thornbury - and that was just my list of go to stores. Less stuff and no EV/Brad etc but we did have it. inc lots of in store appearances and overall store discounts
I don't mean to offend anyone, a lot of what I say should be taken with a grain of salt... that said for most of you I'm a stranger on a computer on the other side of the world, don't give me that sort of power!
Thanks for the links. Thats one thing i've noticed moving to Geelong from Melbourne, love everything about it but have fallen out of the loop with all the little vinyl hot spots i used to love. Cheers
