I am shocked that a pressing of only 300 is so low on the ebay...assuming they will fly quickly when people realize how tough they will be to find.

I am thinking you will definately see that price drop...The day before it is always high...The Eddie Vedder single is listing at $45. Just wait until later tomorrow when these are all flooded on ebay.

People have said they are going to try to pick up extra of what they see to get more into the hands of other board members. I intend on waiting to see how this all plays out before I shell out $50 bucks for a 7 inch vinyl.

also, the one on ebay isn't even guaranteed, since the guy doesn't have it yet. You get a refund if he can't get it.

:fp: Good grief!! Hope he isn't in Canada, apparently none here at all. Crazy. I'm thinking the only thing I'll be coming home with tomorrow is the Immortality from last year my store is holding for me. Ah well, onto the next.

All of the replies are "ok", but you are failing to acknowledge the reality of supply and demand. There were what? 10,000 PJ singles pressed last year? AND it was a reissue. Don't try to overthink this. Historically, RSD vinyl does drop in value as time passes due to flooding of the marketplace, but you can assume that at least 1 out of 3 people who get the Mccready actually want to keep it, that means there MAY be 200 available through ebay, and other locations....There are more than 200 people on this board alone looking for that record. $50 and $65 will be the low end average for that. EV should bottom out at around $30-$40, as there are only 1,000 of them. These are not widespread re-releases, folks.

I'll assume that you are the seller.

I can see the EV 7"s staying at the $50 range because its going to be much more sought after since its EV AND its PJ songs.

The Brad, Star Anna and Po/4Fathers ones I just don't see being horribly sought after. They'll go for a lot this weekend and then after that I think they'll just drop quickly because there will be a lot of flippers buying them and the demand won't stay strong on them.

I could be wrong -- its so hard to guess with PJ collectibles these days anyway. But I just don't see the Star Anna/Brad/Po 7"s sitting above $25 after a few weeks...
