    I agree. There is plenty of time. I have always thought he would be back and while no one here agrees with me, I agree with the Yankees decision and don't think it would have been a good fit for his first job. I do think he'll be back.

    I'd like that, too much pressure on him if he went back to manage the Yanks. Also any sports reporter who bad mouthed him, i would then have to hunt down and kill.

    I'm not sure the Yankees are the type of team or market you hire someone without previous experience. Fortunately he's getting that experience in the minor leagues...I mean National League. :lol:

    It would be career suicide if Mattingly does ever come back if any of the NY writers started knocking Mattingly.

    My best Yankee moment. I rank it right there with Posada's double against Pedro. Just look at that crowd after the homer...the beer being thrown around. Magical. I remember jumping around like an idiot after this homer. :mrgreen::mrgreen:
