Is it me or is this word overused these days? Everything is epic? Epic this, epic that.

I was thinking the same thing a few minutes ago when I read something labelled epic. It was not as advertised.

I'd toss "fail" in there too.

And, adjectives that for some stupidass reason are now being used as nouns.

    "That was full of awesome!!!1"

My god, how this language is being massacred.

(I do like the Faith No More song of that name, though)

I refuse to use this word even when it is necessary now, because it's like the boy who cried wolf. Never lives up to its expectations.

Just brought home a full case of Epic brews from Salt Lake. In fact, they had just bottles a batch of Mid Mountain.

Nabbed some Brainless on Peaches, Brainless on Cherries (for a co-worker), Smoked and Oaked, and a few Stouts.

Epic brews are good and good for you! Little hard on the checkbook though! Ouch!! $150 out the door!

(couple of shirts and glasses too)

A friend of mine uses the word "literally" a lot, and when he does... he uses it multiple times.

It never fails that I think of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YxtEYFYd-MY

I was playing Skyrim last week and had to battle an Ancient Dragon. It went on for a long time and I used almost every healing potion in my inventory. I kept fighting and fighting and finally prevailed. I've just got to tell you...it was epic. x

i hope you're talking about video games because if you're actually battling ancient dragons then that is the very definition of epic :P
