See Brian Fallon's comments on scalpers regarding their tour warm up show in Brooklyn coming up. I've been hoping for a while for these guys to tour with Pearl Jam. maybe i'm reading too much into in but...

1) Brian Fallon is in Ten Club
2) He mentions Pearl Jam several times.
3) He says there’s some tours “you’re gonna freak out over”. Hmmmm

So we’ve been made aware of this current ticket issue about people having too high a limit per person, which scalpers take advantage of. We’re actually not the ones who set that limit, we have very little control over how retailers who sell the tickets do things. There was that big war Pearl Jam had a few years back, and that didn’t end up great.

Right now, we’re trying to come up with a system to let the people who want the pre orders of tickets to have a fair chance to get them at a fair price. But it has to be for real fans who actually want the tickets, not scalpers who buy them to sell to real fans. I don’t mean “real fans” as in if you only “kinda” like us you can’t get tickets. I mean real people who want to go to a show. So we’re gonna figure something out. I know for PJ there’s the Ten Club where I get my email about tickets before they go on sale to the general public and they’re usually discounted, which is cool. So maybe that’s an idea, but we need to figure out how to do that. Maybe we do the 11 Club.

Now we’re almost done with the whole big artwork package where Mr. El Jefe is up to his ears in artwork for this thing. We’re gonna have something really cool in the whole thing, so it’ll be nice. Details to come soon…

I’ll be doing a twitter chat tomorrow (4/19) at 5pm Eastern time (US) to answer whatever you want to ask. I’m looking forward to talking with everyone.
Lastly, we have tons of shows booked, we’re going to be announcing them as they come closer, so don’t worry if you don’t see your city or country yet, it’s really coming up. We’re gonna be touring this year and next on this record, all summer, all fall, and there’s some tours you’re gonna freak about… so just sit tight. It’s all gonna be rolling out soon. Our new single is about ready to be revealed… then the details will start rolling out!

That would be incredible if The Gaslight Anthem toured with PJ. One of my favorite bands besides PJ, of course.

It might not just be Brooklyn he's referring to, the London show sold out quickly too and tickets are selling on sites like eBay etc.

If you're implying they might be touring together it would probably be him freaking out rather than Gaslight fans  when they played on the same bill in Hyde Park a couple of years ago he said he was really nervous knowing that Pearl Jam were backstage and could be watching :D It would be good if they toured together, not sure about this year though.
I'm half expecting to see Brian in the crowd at the first Manchester show over here

Problem is they're playing shows in cities that haven't seen them, festivals aside, since fall 2010. While it's cool they're playing the Music Hall in Williamsburg, or the Camden Palace in London, reality is that they're not big enough for a band that's on the up and playing in two of their biggest markets. This is a band that sold out Radio City Music Hall and Hammersmith Oden 18 months ago when last in NYC/London. They won't be playing venues this small in big markets when the tour starts. The ticket buying frenzy is largely, at the moment, due to a choice of clubs hold 550/1000 people for one off shows after selling out 5000 capacity halls last time around. Talking up a problem that doesn't really exist at the moment IMO. Come the tour proper, the same thing happens, then fair one. Could just be raising interest and debate ahead of a tour announcement?

would love that too. I rarely really enjoy any "new" bands these days, so Gaslight Anthem are a very nice exception to that rule.

If they decide to do a fanclub like thing I'm in! :)

I asked Brian in the Twitter Q&A but he didn't answer
