Red Hot Chili Peppers live?

I can get good seats for the upcoming tour and can't decide if I want to go. I'm not a big fan of theirs but like several songs. I saw them several years ago when they played with the Foo Fighters and was not impressed. Several of us wanted the Foo Fighters to come back out. Is it me or do other people think Kiedis doesn't sound that great? Flea and company can only make up for so much. Did I catch them on an off night or have others had similar experiences? Maybe I am just spoiled seeing Pearl Jam so many times...

    I saw them in 2006 on the Stadium Arcadium tour. I had heard the same thing: "they are hit and miss" from this board. They were great. Nobody sat down the entire time. They are not Pearl jam- so the two bands are apples to oranges live- very different bands. Keidis isn't Vedder, but I still think he puts on a good show. I will be seeing them again in October. Curious to see what Josh brings to the table live. I would suggest if you are on the fence about it, to look up recent setlists, and I think their website has boots available as well I think.

    Thanks for the replies. I searched the forum for Red Hot... I guess I should have searched RHCP. It sounds like I am not the only one who was disappointed by them live. I think I will pass.
