Just dont play catch, or throw it to your dog..very heavy and hard compared to a reg disc!
Also there are diff. discs - drivers, putters, midrange, etc.
We use to have a dog and we got him a dog back pack like for a horse and he would carry our discs. One of our parks was on the college campus and the girls thought it was so cute...good boy!
You throw at a metal basket with chains.
You play like golf.
1st shot each hole from a "tee" (Cement pad).
The lower your throw count, the better.
It's a good time.
We used to do our own version of disc golf in college, but I guess we missed the basket part. We just threw it at trees
frolfin is very laid back, lots of beers, smoking, chillin... sometimes it's dangerous, if you are on a crowded course, do NOT want to get hit in the head by one...
If PJ comes back to Detroit anytime soon, I got enough discs for everyone!
It really is fun. And very laid back as said before.
yeah, my good friend Houser is from Pontiac area, his cousin worked for one of the disc companies, dude has TONS of discs! We put often. i love disc golf, I'm definitely down. If you ever come out to Denver, PLEASE, hit me up, I'm always down to play, just won't be throwin the EMEK disc

Sounds awesome!
I have friends who may be moving back to Fort Collins soon, so I'll keep that in mind!
I'm really not sure what I would pay... I would think $50-$75 would be ok... But I hate paying a flipper anything. But $250
Is just being a D-Bag
I would wait, but who knows. Remember that this is not a Pearl Jam item, it's just the same image used on a Pearl Jam poster. Technically shouldn't have the same flipping value as if it were a Pearl Jam golf disc, in my opinion.
But I have no idea how nuts Emek fans + disc golf players are so who knows!
Sooo, the eBay person already has it so it wasn't from this sale that just happened. Boy that looks a lot better in those photos. Fingers crossed that my order went through....been refreshing for the last hour now to see if it's been cancelled :fp: :fp:
If anybody got one I would love to see pictures of what it looks like in person!!
I hope someone here was able to grab one of these
7/15/2011 - Benoroya Hall - (Eddie Vedder Solo) - Seattle, WA
4/2/2008 - The Center in Vancouver for Performing Arts (Eddie Vedder Solo) - Vancouver, WA

9/1/2005 - Gorge Ampitheater - George, WA
The guy on the bay either had more than one or he took down the 250.00. And changed it to 499.00? The pics are all the same????
That's nuts..... :nono:

I (think I) got one. But, the $40 (with shipping) was about my limit. I would never have gone anywhere near $250 for this (let alone $500).
The further sad part about this is they were selling it for charity (or at least that's what the site said).
So, if this is them selling some of the "extras" off (remember - EMEK said he gave all 130 to them, so there is another 90 or so unaccounted for after the initial sale) for more $ for the charity and giving 40 of us a break, then that is great (but I assume the ebay listing would say as much). But, if it's just someone who came into a few trying to get the highest buck, then that is sad. Not from the flipping stand point - hey, once you buy it, its yours. But, from the charity stand point.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
I'd just like to say, the guy that sold it has NOTHING to do with me. I used to be friends with this asshat, Slow John, ScreenprintVault, but he is TRULY a piece of shit and tried to rip me off. I haven't spoke to him in weeks. I do find it QUITE upsetting that Gary from Inside The Rock Poster Frame is saying that is my sale, and emailing the people who sold these, MY FRIEND! :nono:

Where is he saying that?
I just want to know how you know there are 2 oversold
I know that 2 oversold because the person who made these discs has been a friend of mine for over 15 years, like an older brother to me. I also can guarantee, Screenprintvault probably has as many of these as they could buy. Do the math, 40 sold online, 130 total, someone in Portland who went to the Disc Golf Tourney has a stack.
