Wow! Awesome! I remember when this song came out in September, 1965. What a great song. I wore that single out from repeated playing. And how great they sound here all these years later. Fantastic.

    Thanks for posting it!

    Amazing.

I saw Paul Simon sing this by himself at the 10th Anniversary of the WTC sites this past September and it was incredibly moving.

AMAZING! I don't know what it is, because I can't stand Paul Simon solo but there's just something magical about Simon & Garfunkel. I guess Garfunkel is magical ;)

    I still say..

    This ONE song...
    This one moment in time...
    These 5 minutes.....

Is Art Garfunkel at his very best...
And could possibly be the best rendition of any song...
    By any artist....

Good thing I can't watch/listen from work - this particular version brings me to tears every time.

And, I'm gonna have to watch the Graduate (yet) again - one of the best soundtracks of all time!

The Central Park show was one of the best times i've ever had at a concert it had such a 60's feel to it .....
jesus greets me looks just like me ....
  • I think it might be the greatest vocal ever recorded. And the fact that he can nail it every time he sings it live is even more impressive. Hopefully his vocal cords recover, and they can tour again. I saw them on the Old Friends tour in 2003 and I was so impressed by both of them. But Bridge Over Troubled Water was a huge highlight. You could just feel the build up to the end of the song, the whole arena waiting for that voice hitting that note. And he fucking nailed it. It was easily one of the best shows I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of shows.

That must have been awesome. I freaking love the DVD, being there live would have been so amazing!
