Sometimes it takes a number of years of High School to work out what you want to do in life.
But my heart and mind have been on this for a while finally going ahead with it.
Plus I am so sick of the corporate office 9-5 life, it is soul destroying and depressing me, and quite frankly not me not my style.
First hurdle, the entrance examination.
Booked in for the end of next month.
I spent today working on Maths which is my weak point, long division arrrrr.
Also the beep test to improve my cardio.
Yesterday 5.1, today 5.6, need to reach 6.10.
Need to be fit for the physical test should I pass the exam.
Yesterday I spoke to a cop who is a friend of my brother in laws, was very helpful, he gave me good tips and told me what to focus on.
A girl I went to primary school with is on my Facebook, she is a cop but we've never communicated over Facebook and I have seen her like once in the past 15 years since primary school.
I could ask her for her help but feel shy/awkward asking seeing we never communicate.
Last time she approached me at a bar during a community function I was too shy and too drunk to talk to her :fp:
Hardest part is keeping it secret from my boss at work, I applied for days leave for my exam, lucky he did not ask why.
Anyone here a cop or ex-cop?

good luck with the physical aspect. i know a guy in the star force, what a unit..
My knee is a concern to me, always sore on the outer knee next to the kneecap after exercise, I done something when I was cycling that caused this :fp:
Usually bad knees = no career in the Police force.
You are also young. Why do have a pessimistic outlook ? :nono:
