Apparantly the ambulance was held up getting onto the pitch as a police car was blocking the entrance to the stadium, but the Italian media is reporting that it would have made no difference.
(I don't really understand that, as Muamba was "dead" for 78 mins but the emergency care he recieved kept his heart artificially beating until he got to hospital)
Sky showed footage of the players and crowd, and you can tell the players, managers, officials and supporters all knew what had happened and they were distraught. So truly sad for the world of football and profesional sport in general.
Piermario Morosini was just 25. RIP
