and just weeks after Fabrice Muamba of Bolton wanders collapsed but was saved.

    yeah read this earlier too , awful :cry: . it makes you wonder how many more people are going to keep suffering from major heart problems before they are tested more regular . i think they said when Fabrice Muamba had his attack a test would cost you about £25 , nothing really . so sad

    Really sad, I just saw it on Sky Sports News. Fifa should be ashamed that they have not put in mandatory screening of all professional players after Muamba.

    Apparantly the ambulance was held up getting onto the pitch as a police car was blocking the entrance to the stadium, but the Italian media is reporting that it would have made no difference.

    (I don't really understand that, as Muamba was "dead" for 78 mins but the emergency care he recieved kept his heart artificially beating until he got to hospital)

    Sky showed footage of the players and crowd, and you can tell the players, managers, officials and supporters all knew what had happened and they were distraught. So truly sad for the world of football and profesional sport in general.
