Arise

We ignite it, sometimes
the spark,
that flickers through
crowds of infinite
possibility, who
drown
in the all too often
indifference, to the
beauty of
a rippled surface,
if
we just
came up
for air.

This is great... your poem is one totally awesome run-on sentence (and I don't mean that to be a negative thing) and it works so well with the last little bit "if we just came up for air" because you realize you've just read the entire piece without a breath---kind of like this long sentence I just wrote.
Seriously, very cool poem! Great theme, great imagery.
