Why am I still awake?

Suns: once the center of the universe.
The moon looked on wantonly.
Craters ever gazing, unblinking.

Shooting stars beget life-

Two legs to support mobility, in pursuit of exclusivity,

encountering the things universally seen

through every unblinking eye

all at once.

the suns of our system
now on overload
or paused.
to look again and feel what was missed:

Opportunities crawling
Wrong directions waved teasingly over a prospective
which grabs them and is proud
until they explode in hand, leaving numbness

To be thick skinned like the four legged rhinoceros.

Sticks and stones may break your bones, but words are known to kill
If not used corrrectly.

Always a lesson to be learned;
the boys and girls, the moons and suns,
know that only a fool believes
that the world is simply round.
"Sun sets on this ocean- never once on my devotion."

"If I had this guy's voice, you could all kiss my ass."

You're still awake because you had to write that
