Who is going? The wife is pregnant and she is due on the 17th so I atleast have a 5 day buffer.

man i'd be making sure she had some kung pow chicken, castor oil, and some rubber gloves on hand in case she passes her due date! oh yeah - and lots of intercourse...need to loosen that area up and grease the shooter! :D

    (congrats btw!)

edit - hopefully going to this one!
I love to turn you on

I'm taking my 11 year old niece to her first concert PJ or otherwise! She's learning to play the guitar, so I hope this will inspire her :)

I will be there, hopefully in the first 5 rows. In 06, I was in row 7. Everytime I feel old based on my fan club #, it's times like these that make that pain go away.

Anyone else excited the show is on a Sunday? I hate the weeknight shows cause I always have to take the following day off just for hearing purposes.

I'm happy it's on a Sunday! I think school's out for my niece, so that's cool.

I wonder where I'll be? I was in bum fu** Egypt at verizon in 2006, you can see on my myspace pics. If you do not have myspace, YOU HAVE WATCH MY WHOLE BORING slide show to see the tiny pearl jam pics at the end

;) (they were still amazing even though I was 14 or 20 rows away)

I'm seriously considering flying up to it. It's the only one of these 10 dates that I can possibly fit into my schedule.

Was hoping they'd play New Orleans or some other city close to me, but I don't wanna hold out on getting tickets to D.C. to find out that no more dates are announced.
    9-3-98 - Birmingham
    8-7-00 - Atlanta
    8-14-00 - New Orleans
    4-9-03 - Birmingham
    4-19-03 - Atlanta
    10-8-04 - Kissimmee
    8-5-07 - Chicago
    5-1-10 - New Orleans
    7-19-13 - Chicago
    11-1-13 - New Orleans
    4-23-16 - New Orleans
    9-19-23 - Austin

I think it's highly possible there will be a 2nd leg announced covering the mid-west & west coast. Based on their touring schedule since 2000, this looks to be the case. For some reason, Seattle has not been feeling the love. I think the band likes playing Mansfield the most.

Dude. It's Pearl Jam. Of course they are going to announce more dates and add a 2nd leg. Anything else would be uncivilized.

When Pearl Jam comes to town it's a fucking holiday. So as far as I'm concerned they can play on a Tuesday or Wednesday.

my husband said you'll be in the doghouse so you will need a place to stay as well (because you will be at a pearl jam show instead of the delivery room)

My parents live in DC. I'm going to drag hubby down with me from New York to see the DC show, then try to catch one also at the Garden. I'm totally psyched! It made my day when I saw the tour announcement!

My fan club number is *high*. I haven't bought tickets thru 10CC before. what are the chances of getting them?
  • that night is my 21st birthday. none of my friends are pj fans and, not being a 10club member, im going to have spent a lot to get good seats, which they wont do. but its so worth it. in 2006, i got tickets through ticketmaster...upperdeck to the side, i could barely hear anything clearly. ive decided to pay as much as i need to ensure decent seats on the floor.

    cant wait.

Ah, this brought back memories. It was the hottest day ever in DC the day of the show. I remember walking around Chinatown a few hours before the show drenched in sweat and seeking any place with A/C. Apparently the majority of the bars had problems with their A/C and it was unbearable. It was nice to go inside the Verizon Center to get away from the heat.

I'm thinking RFD before the show again? That was a pretty good turnout last night (and the AC was working!).

Plus it's a Sunday, so you won't have as many people in there for happy hour and such, should be relatively quiet.
