bizarre question. i mean, there's only so many sports you can follow. and if you would actually be inclined to say that there are TEN sports teams that you LOVE, how much passion can you really put into all of them? i'll say this

i love the new york football giants. that is it. beyond that...

i consider myself a fan (in order) of the...

    new york yankees
    new york knicks
    navy football
    new york rangers

and the following i will cheer for so long as they aren't playing any applicable teams mentioned above...

    denver nuggets
denver broncos (strictly for peyton mannning)
    philadelphia phillies

aside from that, i tend to choose who i cheer for when watching sports on the following factors: players, personnel/organization, city, uniform, notoriety/resume (i.e. i tend to root for the underdog when i have no invested interest in either team)

Hell yeah I was. Pip's my dawg. I even made a trip to Washington to see him and the Blazers take on (and beat) MJ and the Wizards in like 2003. Lots of nostalgia in that game I'll tell ya.

    In order...

    Philadelphia Phillies
    Philadelphia Flyers
    Philadelphia Eagles
    Philadelphia 76ers
    Towson University Hoops
    Towson University Football
    Whoever plays the Dallas Cowboys
    Whoever plays the NY Mets

Yeah, that's about it. When I was young I liked whatever team rickey henderson was on. Outgrew that when the Jays played the Phils in the WS.
