No, just me and Julie going. I don't know that dude.

Because Pearl Jam, the only early 90's band to make it out of the grunge era alive is doing a benefit concert there. They are pretty good, so maybe make a point of it to go see them sometime.

Barely Alive, I decided I am not going to the pre show tavern in pittsburgh.
If I get drunk, I won't remember the concert....I'm having trouble remembering DC. Sooo, I'll be resting in my hotel room in monroeville before the concert because I'm staying at my brother in law's (in erie) the night b4 and I'm sure I won't get any sleep there.

Not that it really matters, but I'm going to be taking a break from this thread for a few days.

I've been very stressed out lately and not my usual rational self.

The one thing I need more then anything right now is a nice relaxing, stressfree trip and I'm not sure Seattle is going to be that for me right now. I need to take some time and reevaluate things right now and see if I still want to go on the trip as is, change my flights and kind of do my own thing out in Seattle, or not go at all.

I also need to see how Pittsburgh goes for me. If it's another show that doesn't blow me away, that may influence my decision. Maybe More Coffee and Fanch are right and I'm starting to get too jaded of the band and need to take a break from them for awhile.

Sorry if this post is a downer, but I haven't been this down in awhile.

    Dude not you too!
I'm sorry to hear that and I can't help but feel partially responsible because of the crap I've been posting.
    Man I apologize.
I'm going to keep my mouth shut.
The second leg is going to be incredible big guy.
Pittsburgh is always a great show. The guys will be excited to play too.
I think that their promotional bullshit started to really get to Ed and
maybe had a little bit of an effect on him. I firmly believe that the 2nd leg will be much better than the first. As hardcore fans we can't help but analyze and breakdown the evenings...we just can't help it.
After I get down on a show I always come around. The last week wasn't a bad week, it just wasn't as good as what we are very used to. The guys were tired.
I think Pittsburgh and Cincy will be stellar evenings. The Gorge will absolutely be the end all best time too.
I am very jealous here on my end. At my age and with my responsibilities, a trip like that would be too much. I would just miss my family. I always do when I'm away from them. I would love to do these trips with everyone though. You are all such great people.
Now is your time Joe. Take advantage of it.
You never know what life has in store for you around the corner.
I had a total blast during the little time we shared together.
I'm looking foreword to more great times too.
    You'll snap out of it.
Most of the time all I listen to is pearl Jam. When I put something else on it doesn't take long before I'm back to what I love most.
Their music is like coming home again.
That is also the reason why I'm so hard on them and critical of the shows. They mean that much to me.

Yeah, I missed you last night at 1AM bro. ;)

Cheer up Joe! We'll have fun in Pitts, Severed Hand opener and all! ;) And we can air-piano to Inside Job. Seriously, I'll try to stay up after the show and we'll have a drink.
