    freshman year of college, a bunch of buddies of mine got really messed up and they had a Vision of the Yamcumber. The Yamcumber, the Holiest of Vegetables. THey apparently had this big long stoned/tripped out discussion about the Yamcumber. Someone (we don't know who) wrote the Book of Yam, which is about God's creation of the Earth and the role of His Pious Yamcumber.

    Anyway, fast forward a couple of years later to 1996. My buddy Makul & I found the Book of Yam in Word 2.0 format. We thought it'd be hilarious to create an Internet "shrine" to the Yamcumber, put a guestbook on it, post the Book of Yam, have a link to where they could email my buddy who had "The Vision" to ask him questions. The site surprisingly got a decent amount of traffic and was even discussed on a syndicated radio program.

    The other night I wondered if the site was still up. It was.

    we are far from ordinary office folk. i was thinking about all of our involvement on this message board and our infatuation with the band. from an outsiders view its kinda creepy. i almost skeeved myself out. theres a fine line between full fledged DORK and well rounded...

    I didn't know they were called that. I watched the Red Sox episode last year because Colorsblend forced me to. Other then that I would have no idea if they were still on tv.
