Ok CB and Chrom, we had this discussion at Magic Carpet Pizza and you both said you followed my point- I am not BITTER about the setlists, I said I simply think that they should have more of a rotation of the sets being that they have so much catalog to choose from. Why not give us different songs more often? The ones they pick are of course arbitary, but what is the reasoning behind not giving us some different tunes. How is that bitter to question why we get Even Flow, DTE, Betterman a huge majority of the time just to name a few. Why not have Smile, Immortality, and Oceans instead? I'm not saying play Rats all the time, but why does hearing that have to be a treat. I've seen them 18 times and that was the first time I've heard that. Why haven't I heard Who You Are in 10 years? Certain songs have become staple/heavy rotation when they don't hold anymore water than others in most cases. Sure, they mix the sets up to start with before someone uses that point on me, but it's still a limited rotation was my point. The true deviation is negligible in the end with the song rotation.
I hope the both of you get abducted by pre-op tranny thugs on the way to a buffet in Vegas and are never heard from again. Bastards.

Well they need to break out SOLAT after Come Back obviously to get the crowd back into it. Come Back sounds like a bad prom song in my opinion.

So, yeah. I'd love to hear YIELD in its entiriety (and I think it's cool to even be able to dream that they'd even do such a thing), but to call Pearl Jam "complacent" I think is a bit misguided.
Just IMO. I still want to drink beers with all of you in Philly!

I agree! Its pretty fuckin sad SF can get a third show and we cant!!!
I like the idea but they barely sold out 2 shows in E. Rutherford... I know that a Thurs show kinda sucks but still and as of now Philly still isn't sold out for nite #2 but what can you expect on a holiday weekend. If they added a 3rd E. Ruth show, then I would definitely have to get tickets for #1 and #3.. there would be no reason to miss 3 shows 3 nights in a row.
BA- we were busting stones... I did and still do agree with you but like PhillyPJ, I agree that the band plays a pretty good set every night and we get spoiled by going to multiple shows bunched together and then trying to compare and question the set lists. I think from now on I'll just take each show as its own special separate entity and that way I can appreicate each one for different reasons.
